Life in the time of Corona – Captain’s log:Day 116

Sometimes it is good to take stock, if only to see what we have that we can work on, and more likely to see what we can be thankful for.

Today I attended a virtual awards ceremony. This means that myself and the other people from my company dialed into a Teams call whilst listening to/watching the live stream on YouTube.

Let’s take a minute to appreciate the fact that 15 years ago that statement wouldn’t make any sense and 6 months ago we would have laughed at the idea.

Anyway, the ceremony was for the MCA (Management consulting association) awards for 2020 and I attended because the Lima2019 project I was involved in was nominated for the best international project.

We won!

I am truly thankful to have been a part of that project.

Be kind. Stay safe.

  1. Hi Charlotte,

I read your blog most days, it is an interesting insight most days, well done for keeping it going!

Well done too on the MCA Awards, a great result for all concerned. Although I am back in UK now, my business contacts in Lima tell me that the Games legacy of PMO and NEC live on!!

    Kind Regards, Chris J
